Your Own Super Powers

How did you do with yesterday’s exercise? We will go back to what you most want to create in the next few days, but for today, we will focus on the super powers you will count on to get there.

Have you ever seen yourself as a super hero? What would you consider your super power(s)? Today’s self-love challenge is for you to see yourself as a super hero, and write down your super powers. They could be related to career, parenting, relationships, spirituality, creativity, mind, physical power, or anything else that you come up with.

Here are some examples of super powers to give you some ideas:

  • Create something instantly
  • Cook whatever is in the fridge
  • Make people laugh
  • Be present in the moment
  • Do Yoga
  • Breathe through the whole body
  • Sell anything to anyone
  • Listen attentively
  • Teach anything you learn
  • Have highly developed intuitive abilities
  • Inspire others
  • Write, draw, paint, dance or photograph like no one else
  • Be you no matter what
  • Keep secrets
  • Heal yourself and others
  • Solve problems with ease

A couple of years ago, I created a gift for a friend, that said Super his name, and I listed a few super powers I thought he would like to have. I completely forgot about it, until a few weeks ago when he mentioned he still had it (I created something similar to the image I have on the top of this post). Once you decide on your super powers, you could create a label with Super Your Name and the list of powers, and attach it to a white mug (make sure to use water proof paper and ink and/or cover it with something to protect it), as a reminder of the fact that no matter what, you do have super powers. You could go a step further and order a personalized mug or T-shirt on Cafepress.com or a similar website.

Feel free to post your super powers here, unless it’s best to keep it a secret.
